🌟 Inspiration from Leonardo Da Vinci & American Sign Language (ASL)

Our inspiration for this week’s lesson comes from the legendary Leonardo Da Vinci and the American Sign Language (ASL) guide. Da Vinci is renowned for his precision and anatomical correctness in his artwork. 🖼️✨ His detailed studies of human anatomy and his accurate depiction of light and shadow serve as the perfect guide for our students. ASL also provides clear, detailed visual references of hand shapes and movements, enhancing both anatomical accuracy and expressive capability in artistic rendering. It bridges the gap between form and function, helping artists capture the subtleties of hand gestures and positions.

🖌️ Project Description

In this lesson, students will practice their observational drawing skills by sketching their own hands. This exercise will help them understand the structure and nuances of hand anatomy while developing their artistic technique.
