🎨 Little Ashcan's Creative Journey: Spring Highlights and Exciting Summer Plans! ☀️

Ashcan June 20, 2024

Little Ashcan Painting Their Portraits with Watercolor

This past week, our Little Ashcan students took on the exciting task of painting their self-portraits using watercolor. It was truly inspiring to see their creativity and imagination come to life on paper. Each student carefully sketched their portrait with graphite on watercolor paper and then brought it to life with vibrant watercolor paints.

The process began with detailed pencil sketches, where students learned to capture the basic proportions and features of their faces. They then moved on to the fun part - painting! With a palette full of bright colors, they experimented with blending techniques, creating shadows, and adding fine details to their portraits. The results were stunning, showcasing each child’s unique style and artistic vision. Seeing their faces light up with pride and joy at their finished pieces was the highlight of the week.

Spring Session Conclusion and Summer Session Announcement

We are thrilled to announce that our Summer Little Ashcan program will run from July 1 to August 17.
