Our young artists unleashed their creativity by mixing and matching whimsical features to create one-of-a-kind creatures! 🦄✨
Sketching the Creature 🖊️👩🎨
Once they had their features selected, it was time to sketch! The students got to work, bringing their creatures to life on paper. They let their imaginations run wild, thinking about how their creatures would look and what they wanted to include. Some drew creatures with a bit of attitude, while others created sweet, whimsical beings—there were no limits to what they could create! 🐉💫
Adding Color with Acrylic Paint 🎨🌈
The fun really started when the students picked up their paintbrushes! Armed with bright, bold acrylic paints, they started bringing their creatures to life on canvas. Some students stuck to realistic colors, while others went wild with neon greens, pinks, and blues. We loved how they mixed colors and added layers, making their creatures pop with life and energy! 🎨💖
What’s Next? 🌟
This project was just one of the many ways we encourage creativity and self-expression here at Little Ashcan. We’re so proud of all the hard work and imagination our students put into their artwork this past Fall 2024—and we can’t wait to see what they dream up next for the Winter Spring 2025 Session! 💖
